At the start of the period, the instructor continue with the review of the background worksheets before transitioning to a visual story of the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Using the ABC News segments from Israel: A Case Study, the students were given visual exposure to the feelings, emotions and beliefs of both Israeli and Palestinian people in the Middle East. The segments examined the development of the hostility and the lengths to which some citizens will go for their idealism (terrorism and ethnic persecution).
