Today, the instructor handed out the supplemental Reading Study Guides that accompany the Modern World History textbook.  The reading study guides can help all students "chunk" information and help simplify information in the textbook at home (if they are having difficulty).  In addition, the instructor explained how the Course Notebook will be used in the course.  The students received handout information on the course standards, how to take Cornell Style Notes for summarization, and how to use the textbook in order to grasp the information for long term recall.
