The instructor and the students continued their study of the Modern Era. Today, the instructor and the students continued with a review of past curriculum using the Reading Study Guide Worksheets that accompany the textbook. The students worked with the instructor to answer some of the posed questions and establish some background knowledge surrounding the Ottoman Empire and the creation of our Modern Middle East. Before the close of the period, the instructor introduced some notes on the Arab-Israeli conflict and its history in the past 75 years.
