Today, the students were introduced to the Choices Program Unit on the country of Iran from Brown University. The students were asked to read and develop answers to posed questions and graphic organizers detailing the history of Iran from its early civilizations until modern day. From their background information, students should develop an understanding of Iran's political, economic, social and cultural history. They should pay close attention to Iran's relationship with foreign occupiers including the United States, especially in the past 50 years.
