Today, the students worked on a Map Skills activity. The objective was for the students to identify the key players in World War II and their relationship to each other (Axis Powers vs. Allied Powers, Neutral Countries, Countries overtaken by Axis).
On the Map Skills worksheet, students identified and classified the countries before answering key questions about the timeline and movements during the World War II era (1939-1943). The remainder of the war will be covered via virtual map as we progress through the Holocaust and Operation Overlord/Battle in the Pacific (1944-1945).
