Today, the students had their first Warm-Up question for Unit 7. The posed question for Warm-Up Question #1 was: What role did World War I play in the development of Nationalism and Revolution in the following countries: Ottoman Empire, Africa, Russia and India? What do you think any nation might gain and lose by modernizing (changing) its economic and political practices? EXPLAIN.
Following the discussion of the warm-up question, the students and teacher discussed and looked at visuals regarding the social changes that took place in the Western Democracies (Literature, Science, Art, Music)...specifically looking at some elements in the United States and Europe.
