At the start of the period, the students worked on their final Warm-Up for Unit 6 (World War I). The question for Warm Up #3 was: Which of the non-European nations had the greatest impact on the war effort? What factors or events prompted this country to join the war effort? Which of the powers did this country join? EXPLAIN.
Today, the students and the instructor finished the remaining lecture notes and discussion regarding World War I. The focus of the presentation and discussion revolved around the end of the war and the effects of the Treaty of Versailles on foreign relations between European nations as well as the effects yet foreseen that would eventually unfold during the 1920's and 1930's (prelude to the future dictators and WWII).
